Cultivating a Lifetime of Legacy is a nonprofit organization that works with youth ages 12-24. Our work provides mentors and other supportive people to help our students access all available resources.
Our students and family become a part of the CLL family that sticks with them through life’s ups and downs. Along the way, they learn the significance of their life purpose and abilities to serve others and make a difference in their families, workplace, and communities.
Cultivating a Lifetime of Legacy was founded in September 2012 by Kimberly Bennett, Crystal Moon, and Nya Bennett. CLL was established to address the undeniable need to assist disadvantaged youth transitioning from adolescence to adulthood. CLL began with our Brighter Days mentoring program and our BeYOUtiful book club. Since then, we have created two more programs that align with our mission: the Next Generation Leadership Academy and Next Generation Prep Academy. In addition, we host two annual community service projects; the “Share The Love” and the “College Send-Off” events. Since our inception, CLL has gone on over 20 college visits, hosted five youth and young adult retreats, and hosted several exposure trips, including trips to New York and Washington DC. We have served over 260 students and families throughout the state of Georgia. We are working diligently to equip the next generation by empowering young people to build confidence and skills to experience meaningful and successful school to workforce transitions.
To strengthen communities by empowering youth and young adults to become self-sufficient. We nurture critical thinking, expand access to higher education, and develop holistic life skills that lead to success in society.
Our vision is to improve the quality of life of economically disadvantaged youth, families, and communities.
