WHO ARE WE

Cultivating a Lifetime of Legacy is a nonprofit youth development organization that works with our youth to provide education, mentoring, empowerment, and career development services. We believe that every youth has the potential to thrive when they have caring, supportive adults in their lives. Our program provides youth with a supportive network through one-on-one and group mentoring.

Our Approach

Cultivating a Lifetime of Legacy uses a positive youth development approach to implement programs that inspire, empower, expose and engage young people, their families, and communities so that young people can reach their full potential.

Services

Cultivating a Lifetime of Legacy programs provide services for academic growth, youth have access to tutors to help them reach their academic potential, and mentors that share their life experiences. Our monthly youth sessions and summer camp help our youth discover themselves and the world around them.

Opportunities

We provide our youth with opportunities to learn, practice, and explore new skills and options to engage in leadership roles within the organization.

Support

We foster positive relationships through mentoring that provides supportive, caring adults as our young people grow and develop from ages 12-24.

Transitioning from a High School student to adulthood is a huge adjustment. Some attend college, while others start to apply for local jobs. Depending on resources, mentoring, financial family status, mentors, etc., affect a person's decision. From experience, having a supportive mentor and program that specializes in helping graduates choose a successful career path helped me out tremendously. Having those resources, I was able to push myself further than I intended. To this day, it is the reason why I focus on helping minorities to succeed.
